Dear Mike:
I was just wondering what kind of effects pedal you use for the beginning of Down with Disease?
Thanks Kindly, Mike Salvo
Salvo,:
Currently, it's the Meatball Envelope Filter, by Lovetone, an Ibanez Flanger, which Peter gave me in high school, and a little bit of Lexicon LXP-15 patch programmed by bassist Edwin Hurwitz.
Mike, Trey, Page and Fish:
How come you always say you'll be back in 15 when it's really 40ish. It doesn't bother me in the least - my legs like the rest - I was just wondering.
Love,Jill
Jill::
It has always been exactly fifteen minutes.
To Whom It May Concern At Phish:
I have a suggestion for your Phish Food product. You should add some nuts to the mixture. Say 4 different kinds of nuts.
Just tryin ta help out, Mt. Vernon, NY
Dear Just:
Nuts are very controversial. And, by the way, mint is very controversial.

Dear Phish:
What do you think about the people who call Phish fans neo-hippies or weed smokin freaks who listen to bad music.
Later, Becky Sullivan
Becky:
Musical taste is subjective. For eample, I listen to a song on the radio and love it with tears streaming down my cheeks, switch channels and find the same song and hate it like listening to a pidgeon die.
-Mike
Trey, Mike, Page and Jon:
The primary reason I am writing is to ask you about the rumor that has been spreading through the Phish community concerning the retiring of 20 songs. Is this rumor true and if so, why?
With great respect and admiration, Scott Schertzer
Scott:
Songs come and go like owls in the wind. Sometimes an owl rests, saving its energy for the big flight abroad.
