The exhibit, the first major retrospective of Jim's work, will feature a large number of illustrations and prints commissioned by Phish over the past fifteen years, including designs that have never been seen publicly before. Recently, Jim has turned his attention to social and environmental issues, and the show will also feature a series of prints that Jim has made on industrial hemp blend paper that advocate hemp legalization.
The Sanctuary Artsite is a gallery operated by the employees of Jager DiPaola Kemp Design (JDK), who have designed numerous Phish ephemera over the years, including albums (Farmhouse, Hampton Comes Alive and the Live Phish series), t-shirts and posters (Phishmore, Assface, NYE 2000), among others. The gallery is located at 47 Main St. in Burlington. The exhibit runs through October 7. Gallery hours are Thursday and Friday 4 to 8 pm, and Saturday 12 to 4 pm.
