In order to celebrate New Year's with everyone, the band will offer live webcasts at LivePhish.com of each of their four sold-out shows (including Phish's New Year's Eve three-set performance) at New York City's Madison Square Garden. LivePhish.com will broadcast a 10-camera, high definition shoot with high quality audio mixed live. Fans can tune in on their large screen TVs via HDMI-equipped PCs or Macs, as well as on Android devices, Boxee, Xbox, Wii, and Playstation game consoles.
If you've got alternate New Year's Eve plans, you can still purchase the LivePhish Webcasts. Within 72 hours of each concert, we'll post an archived video stream available only to fans
who purchased the live webcast. When the archived stream is available, we will email you a code to watch the video (you will have 48 hours to redeem your code and watch the archived concert).
A four-night pass is available for pre-order now for $55.00. You may also purchase individual night webcasts ($14.99 for December 28th, 29th, 30th and $19.99 for New Year's Eve). In addition, CDs, MP3s and FLACs of each show will be available.
If you're unsure as to whether or not your Mac or PC is compatible with the live- stream, we invite you to try out a test video at LivePhish.com. We're airing last year's New Year's Gag to test your video streaming capabilities.

I love that is phish back playing shows and they sound great I just think they should try to extend jams and get lost in them lots of people agree! It's like they just trying to play a lot more songs shorter in the set in steed of like 5 or 6 songs in sets with a couple 20min songs I would be good to see some of that. I'm in my 30's & been seeing phish since 95. That's all I'm saying not bashing the boys.
Good lord people, all anyone wants on this site is for the band to give away everything for free. Maybe you never left "the scene," never got a job and never did anything with your life during the hiatus, but a lot of people did. You should be thankful that they are making the shows available to the fans and that they are back playing together at all. I have never seen a band that is apparently so "loved" by their fans, bitched about and hated on as much as Phish. You want them to soud like the 90s, go sit on the couch in your mother's basement and put on your old bootlegs. Those of us with jobs and not needing to barter for our tickets will happily spend the $20 to watch on NYE since we cant be at that show for various reasons. I would love for the band to come out and tell all of you people whining all the time to Eff Off, but that would of course, ruin it for the rest of us.
Happy New Year and thanks to the boys for making this webcast available. Some of us actually appreciate it.
The sets look great but to many songs and not enough jamming can they play like they did in the late 90's? Probably not because they not hooked up before the show like old days they should just try to lost in songs instead of trying to make some crazy set list of awesome songs & only playing them at 10min max miss the old phish.
THANK YOU for making the webcast avaialable, and all that you do....have a great run of shows hope to see you in 2012
Thanks for charging nearly the price to be there to sit on couch tour...
1 show down 3 to go were are the 15min+ jams like the old days.
You should put the webcast up for free seeing all us true fans got no tickets thanks to the sclapers & now your trying to make more money F that. P.S please put all the shows out from 96,97,98,99,2000 these are the best years plus everyone will buy these shows & wants them how long do we have wait for them?!?!?
Hopefull someone will stream it on Ustream or Justin, or one of those. I'm a cheap bastard. I have a better way to spend my $55.00 like on a 5th of throat burning, gut busting paint thinner cleverly disguised in a clear plastic bottle painted with colorful serifed lettering and a two bit boondock whore staggering through the cold stings of the harsh night wind along the bay at midnight.
Sorry ofr any confusion. As is says below xbox/wii do not have the required Flash-enabled browser.
Wii Correction
Sorry, Wii can NOT connect to the streaming webcast because it does not have a flash-enabled browser.
Xbox Correction
Sorry, Xbox can NOT connect to the streaming webcast because it does not have a flash-enabled browser.
Contact Tela@livephish.com with any further questions.
Play a bigger venue so we can attend and not have to pay for a webcast!!!
Your holiday gift to fans should be a fee webcast of the new years show!
Is the X-Box correction made from a random person that appears to not know what he or she is talking about or is a PS3 fan? Actually X-Box has an App store now. It would be able to play any streaming video just like any other device if someone were to actually set it up to do so. I have personally watched live streaming ESPN from my X-Box already. So why not a Phish show. A flash player is like any other universal player. I would definitely prefer the X-Box (or PS3) since it is already hooked up to my TV and stereo.
Can someone at LivePhish verify please or fix the main post?
Sorry, Wii can NOT connect to the streaming webcast because it does not have a flash-enabled browser.
Xbox is a mistake. Sorry, you can NOT stream this show on Xbox. You need a flash-enabled browser to stream the webcasts.
How many bands give fans a free soundboard of any show they have a ticket for? Or just lowered ticket prices (I was on the lawn for $45 this summer after paying more the previous 2). Free would be cool but if you chip in with a few buddies, it's like $5 each for NYE - not bad at all
The webcast should be free you guys are making so much money already!!! Throw phans a bone for once!
