Trey Anastasio and his band will play 9 concerts on the east coast over two weeks in October and November this fall, playing a mix of theatres and small arenas, including the band’s first appearances in Maine, Kentucky and Florida.
The tour kicks off with a special concert on home turf October 22 with a portion proceeds benefiting Burlington City Arts. The organization works to sustain and enhance the cultural life of the greater Burlington community — check out what they’re working on at http://www.burlingtoncityarts.com
Anastasio’s band remains the same as his summer lineup, consisting of Anastasio, bassist Tony Markellis, drummer Russ Lawton, keyboardist Ray Paczkowsi, trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick, alto saxophonist Dave Grippo, saxophonist and flutist Peter Apfelbaum, trombonist Andy Moroz, tenor saxophonist Russell Remington and percussionist Cyro Baptista. Given the busy schedules of many of the players in Trey’s band, these shows will likely be the last time this particular group of musicians tours together.
