Show Notes

This show featured a vocal jam in Sneakin’ Sally Thru The Alley. It also yielded the 1st known performances of Free Bird (Lynyrd Skynyrd cover) and Tell Me Something Good (Rufus cover) and the 1st and only performance of Freeworld. Free Bird was played jokingly with instruments and guest vocalist Ninja Mike from Ninja Custodian. Happy Birthday was played in extended dancehall style for Sue and Deborah. Tell Me Something good featured an unknown guest female vocalist. Freeworld was apparently sung by Jim Pollock, who claimed to have written it on the spot. Although this setlist is currently split into two sets, notes by Del Martin – who recorded the show as part of his work for Phish – indicate that 3 sets were played.
