This was a special 9pm all-ages show in New York City's East Village. Phish alternated sets with Blues Traveler. Phish played set I first, then Blues Traveler played a set, then Phish played set II and finally Blues traveler played their second set. John Popper sat in with the band on harmonica for Funky Bitch and Jesus Just Left Chicago. Reportedly Chris Kuroda joined the band to sing all or part of Funky Bitch. Page teased Low Rider during Contact. This was the first show listed in the December 1989 Phish Update.
