This was Phish’s sixth show at The 23 East Cabaret. Before soundcheck, the light board blew a fuse, causing Chris Kuroda to drive around to try to find a fuse. The fuse couldn’t be replaced so, with help from monitor engineer Pete Schall and others, Toph improvised a light show by manually plugging and unplugging the lights. One of the cooler effects was a single par can shone through a stage fan. The show was reportedly cut short after Weekapaug Groove, which is why there was no encore.
