The band kicked off their 1990 Holiday Tour with their 1st show at The Marquee – an 18-and-over gig. Tickets cost $13.50. Trey’s tuneup before Runaway Jim was We Wish You A Merry Christmas. After Foam, Trey welcomed the crowd saying “Thank You. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year.” After Horn, Trey introduced the song and pointed out Tom as the lyricist. Possum included Charlie Chan and Random Note secret language (without the signal) and ended with We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Tweezer after Manteca included a tease of Manteca. This was the only ever Oh Kee Pa Ceremony > My Sweet One and the third and last performances of No Good Trying and Don’t Get Me Wrong. Page teased Hold Your Head Up before No Good Trying. The band was joined onstage by John Popper on harmonica for No Good Trying (accompanying Fish’s vacuum solo), Hold Your Head Up, Don’t Get Me Wrong – on which Popper also sang – and Funky Bitch. During Hold Your Head Up, Trey introduced Fish and Popper as “Henrietta and Friend.” Before Don’t Get Me Wrong, Trey explained that the band and John got together and wrote the song a couple months before. Don’t Get Me Wrong included a vocal jam.
