Phish's second West Coast show took place in San Francisco. Fish played trombone for I Didn't Know. During Tweezer, Trey teased Dave's Energy Guide and during Big Black Furry Creature From Mars, he teased Simple Gifts (Elder Joseph Brackett cover popularized in Appalachian Spring). During a pause in Creature, Fish yelled at the audience, saying "they're not even listening and they need to shut up and be quiet and quit throwing bottles into that trash can". Before Contact, a giddy sounding Fish yelled "This is the song everybody takes their clothes off to!" Good Times Bad Times was a second encore - performed for an insistent audience chanting "Phish" after the band left the stage following Tweezer Reprise.
