Show Notes

This show featured the 1st known performance of Glide. For whatever reason, the final verse of Runaway Jim was omitted from this show’s performance. During Buried Alive, Trey deftly teased the melody of Esther. After It’s Ice, the band repeatedly thanked the audience. Before Fish’s vacuum solo in I Didn’t Know, Trey introduced him in a unique way, saying “please spread your hands apart for the Duke of Sandwich.” The whole band utilized the introduction to Possum to announce sarcastically that “anyone parked in the alley will be towed in ten minutes.” They repeated “tow”, “alley”, “driveway” for a while. The You Enjoy Myself vocal jam began with many Homer Simpson “Doh’s”.
