Show Notes

This was an all ages show. Tickets cost $12.50. A historic building built in the 1920′s and 1930′s called the Eagles Club housed The Rave on the main floor as well as the larger Eagles Ballroom (where Phish played “The OJ Show” 6/17/94) on the other side of the building. Fans who arrived early at this show were treated to free Old Style beer served from 7pm until 9pm. This rendition of I Didn’t Know included Fish’s last known performance on his vacuum powered bagpipes in which “the Piper” basically played the pipes without the bag. Possum’s intro contained Finger Scrape and Fall Down secret language as well as Stash teases in the jam. Rocky Top was performed as a second encore after the band left the stage and returned following Good Times Bad Times. Set I of this show was memorialized in an infamous Italian bootleg CD called “Sloth”.
