This show was originally listed in the Mar 93 Phish Update as the Orton Center Theatre but the venue was moved to the Green Theatre - a historic amphitheatre built in 1927 with a capacity of about 4,500. Tickets were $15 advance and $17 on the day of the show. The soundcheck featured a reggae version of Dog Log during which Trey shouted out Page as Leon and Paul as "Roots...The Rootdoc is in.". This extensive soundcheck also featured a mashup jam of Dog Log with Heartbreaker, a mostly complete Misty Mountain Hop with lyrics (four and a half years before the band performed it publicly) and the 1st known performance of Bang A Gong (T. Rex cover). During Love You, Fish introduced the band - "Trey Anastasio on drums" (while Trey was looking for a lost drum stick), "Page McConnell, piano", "Mike Gordon on the bass...we ought to throw Mike to you, just toss him right out there...Mike will now attempt a stage dive over the perimeter...over the moat." Amazing Grace was performed with microphones. The next day was the Vernal Equinox, which the band and crew had off.
