This was Phish’s only show on the Tulane campus – they played McCallister Auditorium, a multi-use venue built in 1940 with the world’s largest self-suspended concrete dome and a capacity of 1,822. Tickets cost $15 for students and $17.50 for non-students and were sold out. Nellie Kane, Beaumont Rag were performed acoustic with Trey on acoustic guitar, Mike on banjo, Page on Melodica and Fish on mandolin. Foreplay/Longtime was performed acoustic with Trey on acoustic guitar, Mike on banjo, Page on upright bass and Fish on Madonna washboard.. Ya Mar, which contained a Salt Peanuts tease, and Cavern both featured Carl Gerhard on trumpet and Michael Ray on trumpet and shaker. After this show the band and crew traveled 348 miles overnight to Pelham, Alabama.
