Sam's had previously been Finbar's, where the band played in 1985 and 1986. Sam's no longer exists - it became what is currently Manhattan Pizza in 1996. This was the first show of a 2-night stand. After The Curtain With, Trey said "you have just witnessed a living nightmare...thanks for living through it with us." This show yielded the 1st known performance of Bold As Love (Jimi Hendrix cover). Before Alumni Blues, Trey, who just graduated, held up his diploma and displayed it between him and Page. Fish did a drum solo during Letter To Jimmy Page. Suzy Greenberg included teases of Dave's Energy Guide. This setlist is incomplete due to tape cuts. The rest of the setlist is unknown.
