Show Notes

This was an all ages show and the band’s second and last show at Broome County Forum. Flyers read “Two Just Men present: An Evening With Phish”. Tickets were reserved at $14 and $16. During the pause between The Asse Festival and Guelah (The Fly), Trey explained the Big Ball Jam. Memories was performed without microphones. This show featured the 1st Vibration of Life sandwiched within David Bowie, which also contained The Simpsons and Oom Pah Pah secret lanaguage. Weekapaug Groove led into a Makisupa Policeman-esque jam before developing into Big Ball Jam. Lengthwise featured an impromptu appearance from Mimi Fishman, who joined Fish for his vacuum solo after he sent for her, saying “this is my mother damnit.” During the time it took Mimi to reach the stage, Fish sang another verse or two. When she finally made it onstage, Mimi first answered a question from the audience before finally joining her son in a vacuum duet. After the Hold Your Head Up outro, Page said “what a treat to have Mimi and Jon together.”
