According to the Phish newsletter, this show was originally supposed to take place at The Damn Yankee, a new coffeehouse. It is believed to have been moved to The Oronoka before showtime. Ninja Custodian opened. According to one attendee, this show was produced and sponsored by the Off Campus Board of University Of Maine Orono. This show put the band within 175 miles of Loring Air Force Base, where they would eventually play three massive festivals starting in 1997. Some sources place the band at Penny Post in the middle of the following week, but it is believed that the Penny Post show took place 1/25/90, not 1/25/89.
