Show Notes

This was Phish’s seventh show at The Wetlands. The show was so crowded and steamy from people dancing that the ceiling and walls were dripping with condensation, forcing Paul to cover the soundboard console with plastic. Set II began with Whole Lotta Love house music on the PA. As the band came onstage, they started playing along and, as the house music faded out, continued with their 1st known performance of Whole Lotta Love Jam (Led Zeppelin cover) which they segued slickly into the Harry Hood intro. This was comparable to what they did with The Immigrant Song on 7/1/89. Harpua featured teases of Funkytown (Lipps, Inc. cover). Col. Bruce Hampton & The Aquarium Rescue Unit opened – this was their first gig with Phish North of the “Manson-Nixon Line”. This show was the last show listed in the April/May/June 1990 Phish Update.
