This was Phish's 1st show at the Variety Playhouse. The Variety is a historic theater built in 1940 with a capacity of about 1,000 and was a common haunt for Col. Bruce & The ARU in the Little Five Points (L5P) neighborhood. This was a 1-set, all ages show billed as Phish with Special Guests: The Giant Country Horns. The Giant Country Horns were Dave "The Truth" Grippo, Russell "Killer" Remington and Carl "Gears" Gerhard. The show was co-billed with (or Phish may have opened for) Col. Bruce Hampton & The Aquarium Rescue Unit. This was the final show of Horn Tour. The setlist was adopted from Parker Harrington's audience recording.
