Sat, 1991-10-12 Roseland Theater

This all ages show was Phish's second play at this venue - it had been called Starry Night when they last visited on 4/5/91. The show was promoted by Double Tee Concerts. The band was joined by local hero musician and street performer Artis the Spoonman on spoons for Brother, If I Only Had A Brain, Harry Hood, Tweezer Reprise, Lawn Boy, and Rocky Top. During If I Had A Brain, somebody added pipe or flute of some sort to the mix. Before the encore, the emcee (probably the promoter or club manager) said "C'mon, from Vermont, Phish!” and Trey responded “from everywhere, Artis!” Contact and Golgi Apparatus were a second encore - played after the band left the stage and returned following Rocky Top.
