Show Notes

This was Phish’s 1st show at Darien Lake PAC, an uncovered amphitheater with a capacity of 16,000 located inside an amusement park/resort near Buffalo.  During soundcheck, the band played a Trey-sung Funky Bitch as well as a couple rounds of Including Your Own “Hey”.  This rendition of Reba ended without whistling.  Maze subsequently featured Reba and other whistling near the beginning and included a tease of Stairway To Heaven.  The roller coaster was in plain view of the venue and Trey’s narration during Fly Famous Mockingbird was based on the “Roller Coaster of the Mind”, where every car is the front car.  Before ending Cavern, Trey asked everybody to stop by the Greenpeace table to give Steph a happy birthday hug.  This stand-alone Mike’s Song feaured some angular jamming in and out of the ancient ritual chant, Kung, and contained Finger Scrape and Oom Pah Pah secret language.  My Friend My Friend began with Trey on acoustic guitar.  Carolina was performed with microphones.  The show was released in 2014 as an archival stream/download at LivePhish.com.
