Binghamton, NY, US

Set List

Show Notes

This was Phish’s 1st show at Broome County Arena, a multi-purpose (but mainly ice hockey) arena with a capacity of 7,200 located about half a mile from Broome County Forum. The Makisupa Policeman soundcheck was performed in funk style and is sometimes called “Funkisupa Policeman”. This show featured the 1st public Magilla show opener and the 1st performance of Demand. This unusual Weekapaug Groove included teases of The Little Drummer Boy, The Divided Sky and Dave’s Energy Guide. The Little Drummer Boy was also teased at the end of Peaches en Regalia and during Big Ball Jam. Amazing Grace was performed with microphones. Trey jokingly dedicated Highway to Hell to people in the front row (“we’d like to play one for these people down here”) who were chanting for AC/DC Bag rather than an AC/DC song.
