Show Notes

This was the second show of a 2-night stand at Red Rocks. Tickets cost $20.35. The show was simulcast on KBCO 97.3-FM in Denver. The Introduction at the start of set I was delivered by someone from KBCO. The Odd Couple theme was teased during Run Like An Antelope. Fluffhead was played by request. Frankenstein was played for the 1st time in nearly three years (since 7/26/91) and for the first time without horns since 12/3/89. Suzy Greenberg contained teases of Frankenstein. Because of the FM broadcast of a hot performance, recordings from this show are among the most widely circulated Phish “tapes”. Split Open And Melt was included on LiveBait06 which was released as a free download at livephish.com in August 2011. After this show, the band and crew traveled 617 miles to Kansas City, Missouri for a day off.
