Show Notes

This was Phish’s fifty-third and final performance at The Front and the second show of a 2-night stand.  This was an 18-and-over show and was a benefit for the Abenaki Summer Camp.  Dave “The Truth” Grippo sat in on alto saxophone for Stash, Destiny Unbound, Llama, Magilla, Mike’s Song, AC/DC Bag, Rocky Top and Run Like An Antelope.  After Foam, Page mentioned that the show was a benefit for the Abenaki camp.  David Bowie included a tease of Dave’s Energy Guide.  The Dude of Life joined the band and Grippo to sing Mike’s vocal part of Mike’s Song with some some alternate lyrics.  Page used a Casio synthesizer during I Am Hydrogen.  Before Run Like An Antelope, Trey mentioned that the club was moving and/or closing.  He and the rest of the band thanked Shawn, Peter and the rest of the staff and wished them the best of luck with the new, improved Front (which unfortunately never materialized).
