Show Notes

This Tucson show was originally listed in the Mar/Apr 92 Phish Update as 4/11/92 “TBA” but the show happened the next day and a listing for “After The Gold Rush” in Tempe, AZ on this day was actually performed the following day, 4/13/92.  This was an all ages show presented by ASUA Concerts and Bill Silva Presents.  The You Enjoy Myself vocal jam led into the 1st known performance of Blister In The Sun (Violent Femmes cover) mashed up with sung secret language – Random Note, The Simpsons and more.  It was around this time that the band and management confirmed their first tour of Europe, which was based around opening dates for the Violent Femmes.  Cracklin’ Rosie contained alternate lyrics ribbing Brad Sands, now more than a month into his career with Phish.  Fish changed the “Bah, bah bah bah bah bah” chorus to “Bah, bah bah bah BRAD!”  Sweet Adeline was performed without microphones.
