Show Notes

This show was not listed in the Apr/May 92 Phish Update and was if not intended to be, was perceived as a "secret", unannounced show. This show is believed to have happened at Achilles Rink, an ice skating rink and arena with a capacity around 2250. Crew notes indicate that the show may have taken place at the 1800-seat John M. Robsion Jr. Memorial Arena "Union College Arena" but this information is unconfirmed. The show took place on Page's 27th birthday. A No Smoking announcement was delivered before The Landlady opener. Fish played a trombone solo during I Didn't Know. This experimental Possum included The Simpsons, Fall Down and Finger Scrape secret language and many teases including Rocky Mountain Way, L.A. Woman, China Grove (Doobie Brothers cover), It's Ice and The Divided Sky. The Squirming Coil featured a brief “Happy Birthday” sung to Page by the audience. During the Cold As ice intro, Fish was introduced by Trey as "a man who has no mind to lose...Henrietta." During Love You, Fish started going through the ages, birthdays and nicknames of the band (Page "Dad", Mike "Mom", Paul "Grandpa") and crew. Trey interjected "Phish, more entertainment value for your dollar". Also during Love You, Page teased Lonesome Cowboy Bill (Velvet Underground cover), foreshadowing events of 5/16/95 and beyond.
