Show Notes

This show took place in a historic, Mission style movie house, opened in 1928 and converted to a cabaret concert venue with a capacity of about 850.  Divided Sky included a Jeopardy! Theme tease from Page.  Trey dedicated Lawn Boy to “the guy who I met floating around on my surfboard…the guy who taught me how to surf today”, noting of Vermont “there’s no ocean in our state but we have a lot of lawns…”  My Friend My Friend began with Trey on acoustic guitar and the middle section of the song developed into an unusual theme and ending that segued directly into Rift (without Myfe!).  This Tweezer had a momentary flashback to The Palace in the form of a hint of Sweet Emotion melted into its jam.  Sweet Adeline was performed without microphones, taking advantage of The Ventura’s impeccable acoustics.  After this show, the band and crew traveled 364 miles overnight to Sacremento.  Maze, Sparkle, Divided Sky, Split Open And Melt, Lawn Boy, Tweezer, and Llama from this show were released in 2013 on the Buenaventura bonus disc that was included with the Ventura box set.
