After Foam, Trey mentioned how happy he was to play at Prescott College, which is similar to Goddard. The David Bowie intro featured a healthy dose of Oom Pah Pah, The Simpsons and Random Laugh secret language. Someone named Fern, introduced by Trey after David Bowie, read poetry during the setbreak. Tube, which had been soundchecked the previous night, was performed for the first time publicly in almost a year (since 11/16/90) Before Terrapin, Fish was introduced as Showboat Gertrude. He said that the nickname was a tribute to the Indian singer Shobha Gurtu. Memories and Sweet Adeline were performed without microphones. Between this show and the next, somewhere along the eight hour drive between Prescott and Santa Fe, Trey shaved his head and beard - a decision for which he took some ribbing afterward.
