This was Phish's 1st show at the Palace Theater. It was an all ages show. The soundcheck featured the 1st known performance of Lullaby of Birdland, although it was teased a week before in Providence. The David Bowie intro included teases of All Things Reconsidered, Fly Famous Mockingbird, Golgi Apparatus and later parts of David Bowie plus Random Note and The Simpsons secret language. NICU was performed at its original, slow reggae tempo. You Enjoy Myself included The Simpsons secret language. Sweet Adeline was performed without microphones as a second encore, after the band left the stage and returned after Rocky Top.
