This show was the 1989 Halloween Celebration - a benefit for the Sculpture Building. The shirts read "Join in the Reserection". Ninja Custodian opened. Though the entire show was shot on multi-camera video and was aired the following day on Vermont Public Television, David Bowie was not included on the video footage. The band performed in costume - Trey was dressed in devil's horns, latex pants and fake breasts connected by a chain. Mike wore a dog-faced mask. The band handed out boxes of macaroni and cheese for the audience to shake along with the intro to David Bowie (the 2nd Mac and Cheese Jam). Reba was the original arrangement. During the pause in Letter To Jimmy Page, Trey wished a happy birthday to Mary Ellen. Page teased the I Dream Of Jeannie Theme during The Lizards. This show featured the 1st known performance of Kung. Trey recited it solo before the Antelope lyrics in a Run LIke An Antelope > Kung > Antelope sandwich during which he promised to stage another runaway golfcart marathon the next year. While there is no evidence this was recognized at the time, this is believed to be Phish's 300th show.
