This was Phish's 1st show at Memorial Hall, a historic theater/concert hall/professional wrestling house built in 1925 with a capacity of about 3,200. This show's soundcheck began with the 1st known performance of I Wish (albeit instrumental) in seven and a half years (since 10/30/85). My Friend My Friend began with Trey on acoustic guitar. Following Fast Enough For You in the set, this rendition of the Big Ball Jam was faster than usual. After the Hold Your Head Up outro, Trey introduced Fish as "Henrietta Tubman on vacuum." Sweet Adeline was performed without microphones.
