Show Notes

This was Phish’s only show at the Civic Center Theatre – a small arena with a capacity of 4,657. Tickets cost $19.50 and the show was sold out. Trey sang the verses of Fee through his megaphone. Voodoo Child (Slight Return) was teased at the start of set II before Mike’s Song. Weekapaug Groove contained an On Broadway tease and was unfinished, segueing into Yerushalayim Shel Zahav. Possum included teases of The Rover (Led Zeppelin cover), Kashmir and Magilla. Foreplay/Long Time was performed acoustic with Trey on acoustic guitar, Mike on banjo, Page on upright bass and Fish on Madonna washboard. On the day of this show The Dude of LIfe/Phish Crimes of The Mind was released on Elektra Records. After this show the band and crew traveled 290 miles overnight to Boone, North Carolina.
