Jon Fishman will be performing as part of The Village — a collective of musicians, dancers, and poets, featuring bassist Kai Eckhardt (Garaj Mahal, John McLaughlin Trio, Trilok Gurtu), keyboardist Kit Walker (Pagan Love Orchestra, Kundalini Boombox), West African talking drummer Rasaki (King Sunny Ade), Indian Kathak dancers Kaveri and Mansi, and spoken word/poetry by Julia Butterfly Hill — in September.

The Village performs Friday, September 2nd at the Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center in Berkeley, CA and Saturday, September 3rd at the Gualala Arts Center in Gualala, CA (this event is a fundraiser for Seatones and Arts in the Schools).
