We’re pleased to announce the first official “LIVE PHISH” CD Listening Parties:

Park West * Chicago, IL * October 27, 2002
The Paradise * Boston, MA * October 28, 2002
Great American Music Hall * San Francisco, CA * October 29, 2002

The events are being held in conjunction with the release of the third wave of the LIVE PHISH series: Volumes 13-16, released in stores on October 29, as well as Phish’s first full-concert DVD, “Phish: Live In Vegas”, released in stores on November 12.

The listening parties will feature music + video from the Live Phish series, the new DVD, plus plenty of vintage tracks & rare video. Kevin Shapiro, Phish’s archivist, will DJ the event. Visuals will be provided by James Olness.

All ticketholders are eligible to win some great Live Phish Door Prizes, including the Grand Prize: a pair of tickets to Phish’s show at Madison Square Garden on New Year’s Eve.

Proceeds from the Chicago & Boston events will benefit the WaterWheel Foundation, a non-profit organization created in 1997 to oversee the band’s charitable activities. The Foundation regularly funds environmental and social welfare organizations.

Proceeds from the San Francisco event to benefit the Mockingbird Foundation, a non-profit organization of Phish fans, that raises money to support music education for children.

Please note: Phish band members will not be present at these events.
