Trey’s Friday night 10/27 show at Vegas’ Orleans Arena is now available for download at http://www.livephish.com. The show kicks off with a thundering version of "Simple Twist Up Dave" and also includes killer versions of "Plasma" and "Goodbye Head". Vegas also marked Trey’s first onstage collaboration with Robert Randolph, who sat in for Hendrix’s "Stone Free" and "46 Days".
Trey and his band embark on their first and only trip to the Golden State this year, next week. The tour starts in majestic Humboldt County on Dec 6th, followed by what seems to be an annual two night stand at the Warfield in San Francisco on the 7th and 8th. Trey plays the intimate Ventura Theatre on the 9th and the tour wraps up in Los Angeles on December 10th with a return to The Wiltern. The horns (including Russell Remington, Peter Apfelbaum, trombone player Jeff Cressman, and Dave "The Truth" Grippo) and percussionist/madman Cyro Baptista will also be out in full force for the New Year’s run.
