Show Notes

This was Phish’s second performance at the World Music Theatre – the Chicago area’s largest outdoor ampihtheatre. Tickets cost $27.75. The Dog Log soundcheck was one verse only and was the funk version. Sugar Blue joined the band on harmonica and vocals for Hoochie Coochie Man and Messin’ With the Kid. This was the first Hoochie Coochie Man played in more than four years (since 4/10/93 – Sugar Blue’s last sit-in) and the 1st Messin’ With The Kid (Mel London cover) played by Phish. This was also the 1st known Phish live webcast – it was presented by JAMtv. After this show the band returned to their Chicago hotel and the crew traveled 112 miles overnight to Alpine Valley.
