This was Phish’s second show at the Knickerbocker – known at this time as Pepsi Arena. It was the first show of a 2-night stand, tickets cost $25.00 and the show was sold out. The Dog Log soundcheck was mashed up with the preceding Blues Jam, the Born Under Punches soundcheck was a partial rendition played to the Ya Mar rhythm, and Soundcheck Tear lamented life off tour (without soundchecks). 2001 included a Super Bad tease from Trey. Saw It Again featured a long jam that segued into Piper. Piper contained a preview/tease of Birds Of A Feather, which was played for the first time on 4/2/98. The post-Prince Caspian Jam was Llama-esque and Llama teases continued throughout set II. Run Like An Antelope included teases of Buried Alive and some stop/start jamming.
