This was Phish’s only performance at Le Botanique – a cultural/music center in Saint-Josse, Brussels. There are a number of music venues at Le Botanique. Phish played in The Orangerie – a club with a standing-room capacity of 600. Tickets cost BEF 400. Blow Wind Blow aka Samson Variation was played for the first time during the soundcheck (see 6/21/97). Sweet Adeline was performed without microphones. Reba ended without whistling. Scent Of A Mule was unfinished – without a guitar/piano duel and instead went into A Day after the first piano solo. After this show the band and crew traveled 140 miles overnight to Cologne, Germany for a day off.
