This was Phish’s second show at this venue – stated capacity for this gig was about 18,000. Tickets cost $22.50 and the show was sold out. Trey dedicated Run Like An Antelope to Fish’s then-14-year old cousin, Jason Roberts, for winning a Jimi Hendrix guitar competition at Madison Square Garden (as of 2012 Jason was a guitarist in Norah Jones’ band). Continuing the Hendrix theme, Antelope also included The Star Spangled Banner and Voodoo Child (Slight Return) teases. After this show the band and crew traveled 209 miles overnight to Charleston, South Carolina.
