This was Phish’s third performance at the LJVM Coliseum. Tickets cost $22.50 and the show was sold out. Down With Disease included a Can’t You Hear Me Knocking tease. Low Rider was played for the first time in more than three years (since 7/10/94). Stash and Bathtub Gin were both big, experimental and unfinished. After the show the band traveled 580 miles overnight to NYC and the crew traveled 673 miles overnight to Hartford, CT for a couple days off. This show, including the Back At The Chicken Shack soundcheck, was released in 2011 as part of the Hampton/Winston-Salem ’97 box set.
