This was Phish’s only performance at Arena Vienna – an indoor/outdoor club set in an old slaughterhouse-turned-independent cultural center initiated by squatters called “Arenauts” in the summer of 1976 (known locally as the “Arena-summer”) with a capacity of 850 inside and 3500 open-air in the surrounding meadow. Tickets cost S280. The Poor Heart soundcheck was the slow version. Stash was unfinished, with a funk jam that segued into Ghost. Hello My Baby was performed without microphones. After this show the band and crew traveled 200 miles overnight to Prague, Czech Republic.
