This was Phish’s only performance at Seranadenhof (Serenade Court) – a verdant open air venue in the southern courtyard of the Congress Hall with a capacity of 1,500. Trey stopped to admire the spot “It’s a beautiful place here, playing inside of this giant plant,” Tickets cost DM 36,30. The Dog Log soundcheck was played over a Jesus Just Left Chicago-style blues riff. The Possum soundcheck included vocals from Fish This was the only Ghost > Cars Trucks Buses pairing to-date, and Ghost stretched to nearly 30 minutes including a San-Ho-Zay tease from Trey. After this show the band and crew traveled 345 miles overnight to Como, Italy for a day off to celebrate Independence Day.
