This was Phish’s third performance (second headliner) at Riverport. Tickets cost $25.00. During the preceding two days off in St. Louis, Trey and Mike played some music at an open mic night on Monday at the Broadway Oyster Bar and Mike sat in with The Kind (now The Schwag) at Molly’s. Trey started the show by introducing his Grandma Jean as well as the bathroom attendant from the Ritz Carlton. During 2001, Trey teased Super Bad and he teased 2001 during You Enjoy Myself. Run Like An Antelope included a Makisupa Policeman jam with Page on theremin and Mike on a fretless bass. After this show the band and crew traveled 273 miles overnight to Chicago for a day off.
