Live Webcast of Sold Out 3-Night MSG Run

Phish has found a way to celebrate New Year's with all of their fans. The band will offer live pay-per-view webcasts at LivePhish.com of each of their three sold-out shows (including December 30th, Phish's New Year's Eve three-set performance, and the band's first-ever New Year's Day concert on January 1st) at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

A three-night pass is available for pre-order now for $39.99. You may also purchase individual night webcasts ($14.99 for December 30th and January 1st, $19.99 for New Year's Eve). In addition, CDs, MP3s and FLACs of each show will be available. For additional details or to pre-order, visit LivePhish.com

If you're unsure as to whether or not your Mac or PC is compatable with the live- stream, we invite you to try out a test video at LivePhish.com. We're airing some unreleased video ("You Enjoy Myself" > "Piper") from Phish's 8/15/10 Alpine Valley to test your video streaming capabilities.

THIS IS AWESOME

Person1: "WHAT? I CANNOT HEAR YOU OVER THE MUSIC!"
Person2: "I SAID, 'WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY'LL CLOSE THIS SET WITH?"
Person1: "WHAT? YOU THINK YOU'LL EAT EGGS FOR BREAKFAST?"

Dear Phish and Company:
Thanks for thinking of those who by or not by circumstance cannot visit MSG live Phish show this New Years etc. I would love to be at a Phish show tonight 12/31/10 but since I cannot I am really excited to stream the live pay-per-view (at a competitive price) into my computer! Since it takes a lot of energy for me to make myself part of a crowd of fans the pay-per-view option is PERFECT! And since I never gained the foresight to save money to buy tickets early enough to get even better seats to Phish shows again the live web stream is great! Thank you Phish for coming through yet again for folks like myself :) Where I would have gone to bed early I am now more than likely going to be watching a LIVE PHISH SHOW on my 27-inch LED Cinema Display. I cannot think of a better use for my computer nor a better way to spend NYE at home!

Live Stream Logistics

Hello, I was wondering what the specific logistics were for the show (camera placement, manual operation versus automated, etc.) In the sample clip it looks like some cameras are static and other are manually controlled. I was wondering if there is a certain company that is hired for the production or if livephish puts it on.

Thanks

Timing of the webcast

Of course I would LOVE to be at MSG but I just flew to the East Coast for shows last October (which were awesome) so I'll be spending New Years here in San Francisco. I'll be going to 2 nights of Furthur at the Bill Grahm Civic. The timing doesn't work out to watch the live pay-per-view webcasts but wouldn't it be awesome if I could watch them with my friends after the Furthur shows? Is there any way to purchase a download or delay the viewing time?
Thanks!
