Colorado's music community comes together for "Fourmile Canyon Revival," a remarkable night of music to raise funds for individuals and families directly affected by the devastating Fourmile Fire near Boulder. The benefit concert will take place on Saturday, October 9th at 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, CO.
Jon Fishman, Mike Gordon, Page McConnell and Trey Anastasio will take part in the event, on the eve of their fall tour.
Colorado was the site of Phish's first extended tour outside of the Northeast, and the band has always felt a deep connection to the community. The event features The String Cheese Incident, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Leftover Salmon's Vince Herman & Drew Emmitt.
All proceeds will go directly to the Boulder Mountain Fire Relief Fund. The Fund supports the local volunteer fire departments that courageously fought the recent fire and the mountain residents whose lives were directly impacted by this disaster and are in critical need of financial support.
Tickets to "Fourmile Canyon Revival" go on sale this Tuesday, September 21st, at 10:00 A.M. Mountain Time at http://www.tickethorse.com/. For more information, click here (UPDATE: tickets are sold out).
This show is going to be UNBELIEVABLE and I just wanted to say THANK YOU in a big way for getting involved and for giving us a chance to see such an epic group of our Colorado favorites along side you guys and helping everyone devastated by this fire. Also for helping to give us locals an actual chance to get the tickets (by just using your names). The extra minute was just enough and I got tickets this time (tried for every Colorado show since your return with NO LUCK until NOW!). I can't wait!!! THANKS!
I am a Boulder resident, who was actually able to score some tickets to the show. This concert means a lot to everyone in the Boulder community. To see all of these bands come together will be an amazing night for a great cause.
Thank you Phish. This Boulder resident really appreciates you supporting the cause.
I'm super pumped that Phish is hitting up the benefit show with so many other great artists. I feel bad for all the locals that won't be able to go becuase the crowd that Phish brings with them though. I think they should have announced the show and sold tickets the same day and have given the locals a chance since it is their benefit show. Oh well, you guys are just too damn good and everyone wants to see.
Phish really summoning it's own power with something like this. Where will be go next......?
