first of all,you people complaining should be glad phish has shared there gift with you.the tix situation is the same for every big band.ever tried gettin tix to the stones????they have been able to make a great living from there music,be happy for them.they are not in control of scalpers,so if you got a prob go kick a scalper in the junk.also,to the guy talking about wsp;if you think phish doesnt care about fans,your a fucking mental case.wsp will play for 12 people because thats all that show up.lol. one last thing,all this negative enery you are putting out will come back to you.maybe it has something to do with you not getting tix,just food for thought........live,laugh love!

What's with all the negativity? It's not all about you. You think there aren't thousands of fans who want New Years Phish? 2 and 3 night stands, are the best! Thanks for a great summer, especially at Dick's Sporting Goods, Phish! There are other opportunities throughout the year for Phish. Especially if a labor day Colorado run becomes a tradition, as MSG has. I'm just sayin'... Summer Phamily reunion with my family at Phish....Love you guys. You sound better than ever!

I'm very upset will not be able to attend because tickets are way out my ball park threw scalpers. I hope it comes down to show time and they wind up selling there tickets a little over face value or eating them! This needs to change for new years or Halloween shows or phish needs to play somewhere bigger for shows like this!

I called the 800 number for ticketmaster they said it's the outlets choice to sell out of state tickets what a bunch of crap. We went there with no one else there and got nothing because they don't sell out of state! Please change this! Tickets for any show should be sold at all outlets everywhere!

I live in Chicago and the same thing happen to me the people at ticketmaster said were sorry but we can not do out of state at the outlets.

I went to the ticketmaster outlet were I always get tickets for phish and never have a problem except for when it's a out of town concert they can't log on for out of state they tried and the system would not let them get on have a good time hopefully they will fix this for the future!

You probably talked to someone at ticketmaster that didnt know what they are talking about. You can always buy tickets in different states than the venue at their outlets. I live in Mass and got my tickets at an outlet in Mass. No issues there. Same thing with last Halloween...

Ticketmaster told me you can only purchase tickets at ticketmaster outlets in New York only or over the phone if out of state same thing happen to me last halloween when I tried to get tickets so you tell me should I get off my ass and travel across 5 states to get tickets?!?!?

All you people that complain about not getting tickets are seriously rediculous. How hard is it to get off your lazy butt and go to a ticketmaster outlet to get tickets for a show? I get every show I try to get this way, your just being lazy about it. Or mabey you expect tickets to be available weeks after going on sale, I dont know.

Its funny that the people complaining about the ticket system, complain about ticketmaster, the price of tickets and the venues. You want cheaper shows at smaller venues. Do you really thing having a smaller show and it being cheaper will equate to you getting tickets?? lol It will simply mean the show will sell out even faster.

Quit crying and get off your lazy butts and go to an outlet so you can get tickets. That is all.

I'm not much of a fan, but WSP is a great example of a band that lives for the music, the fans and nothing else...They still play 80-100 shows per year. In every inch of the nation. They don't care if its for 12 people or 12,000 people. They just love to play and they do it at the same venues phish plays for 39-50 bucks a show FACE....That's love for music and your fan base.....PH 3.0 is just some polished up, ego driven, over priced, lizard dung.....

A butt in every seat = $$$ dude! Whens the last time phish played a full on West Coast tour? 2000, and why is that? Because they cant sell out a west coast tour!...So they stay east with an ass in every seat taking in truck loads of money....Get real you delusional newb

Will see what happens this summer 2012 tour Trey said less touring I think they should hit the big venues for 2 or 3 night runs! No one stop shows.

A fan said that east coast people love that they are playing at msg and actually they don't my friends in Boston, Pittsburg & Philly hate it they said it's a hassle trying to get there with the snow & traffic so it sounds like they don't love it!

If they are playing in small veues where they are gueranteed to sell out, how can they be all about the money? The band doesn't get scalpers income. Smaller venue, less tickets, less ticket sales. Simple math.

Actually Bouch, People can , and should get mad at phish about ticket demand. Since the return of phish 3.0 under DMB management it has been next to impossible to score tickets to shows. They announce "tour" in two week runs to keep demand through the roof and only play shows in areas where sell outs are pretty much guaranteed. ...3.0 is only here for the buck$

Whether you get to each show or not, they are still playing some of the best shows of their career. NYC, FLA, CA, who cares. Just keep on rocking. You can't get mad at the band becaues the demand is high for tickets. Get mad at the corrupt individuals selling for more than face value, or better yet the fans that keep paying those outrageous prices. I thank you PHISH for keeping the grove alive.....

I am a 41 year old construction worker & a struggling father of 2. I can't begin to explain my disappointed I am.last year was my boys first show @Alpine Valley. I promised them they were going this year. All three Chicago shows were impossible to get tickets unless you were willing to pay $150 a ticket.I hope they address this situation & fix it before next year. We love you guys please help.

I think I'm taking a break from Phish for the time being while they get their ticketing situation under control. I love Phish but does going broke over them really make sense? Not really. It would also be one thing to spend all that money and then be able to enjoy in decent weather but weather in New York on NYE is going to be horrid. You really want me to dish out top dollars and then freeze my balls off? No thanks. It'd be one thing if I didn't feel so rejected by the band I love, I would have definitely toughed out the shitty weather had I have gotten tickets for face, but now it's just not even worth it.

Come on Phish, I love you guys and you guys normally always have everything figured out but right now you guys need to get your act under control, you're messing up and hurting your genuinely loving fan base.

I have to agree that the current system for getting tickets IS NOT WORKING. When noon rolled around last Saturday ticketmaster was not refreshing my page. At 12:05 my ticketmaster site still said that tickets weren't on sale. It wasn't until 12:07 that the page was finally refreshed. Obviously by then it was too late and I was in "15 minute" hell. I will not be paying scalper prices to see your show on NYE. So unless a friend has an extra or I find an extra for face I will be doing something else NYE. That sucks because I couldn't make it to Watkins Glenn and I had been looking forward to see you all again this year.

I hope something gets done about this soon,

I'm not a kid I been seeing Phish since 95 been to new years in New York before not going because it's going to be shitty weather and way to much cash if I got to buy tickets of guys like you!

Grow up kids, its a cash money world and the most important thing to phish is "marketing merchandise to their fans"....They are raking in the cash and could care less about who's getting the tickets, as long as they are getting the green. The same can be said for your "phamily" who are selling tickets on STUBHUB CRAIGSLIST AND TICKETSNOW for the same price as the brokers.....By the way counterfeit tickets will be everywhere for these shows...........Be careful! With official TICKETMASTER blanks floating around there is no way to tell if your ticket is real until they scan it and you end up out in the cold, $500+ down....

Hey phished folks, I'm a scalper in L.A. and a former lot kid 95- 2000. pre phish 3.0, rock god, greed band of the present....Please allow me to shed some light on scalping and what you guys as "phans" are up against.

70% plus of the tickets for MSG went to brokers and this is how. (mind you this is the same for any high -demand rock show)
1. brokers have bot programs that they invest thousands of dollars into to beat you and the TICKET MASTER system.

2. brokers have arrangements with venues for what they call "season tickets" the brokers pay off the venues to hold seats for them at any event. each broker has 4-12 seats per venue all year long.

3.brokers spend big money bribing TICKET MASTER insiders for guaranteed tickets and worse. (For example) FURTHUR fall tour. an entire box of T.M. blanks walked out the door and into the hands of counterfeit scalpers. These tickets were sold at every sold out furthur show. over 1,500 @ red rocks alone. Those guys were making around 90k per city following furthur tour.

4. TICKET MASTER owns TICKETSNOW.COM and they reserve blocks of tickets for themselves. It is also rumored that bands are getting a cut of the re-sale through TICKETSNOW via TICKETMASTER.

5. This will not change until YOU the FANS stop buying these tickets. AEG, LIVENATION AND T.M. own the game and the rules. The only way this will change is if YOU stop buying second hand tickets and force TICKETMASTER to take drivers license info for each ticket purchase. At venue entry if your drivers license does not match the ticket you don't get in.....problem solved

That's why I'm not going to able to go to new years to hard to get all 4 nights plus travel for gas hotel and to top it off it's going to be cold shitty weather. I hope next year if there is a new years run they play some were warm I rather pay top dollar for hotel were u can go outside to warm weather!!

The current method of purchasing tickets through public sale DOES NOT WORK. PLEASE FIX IT. Ticketmaster sucks. Stubhub sucks. And there's nowhere to buy tickets on Phish.com? Really? C'mon gentlemen.

what is with releasing all four show at once when you can only request 1 show at a time, this makes it so hard for the PHANS who want 1 ticket for each show not 4 tickets for 1 show. its already spendy enough for travel and lodging to NYC an now i have to pay extra to some middle man scalper with no affiliation to the boys... Why is stubhub such a LIE?! Its a total PHAM RAPPER!!! They aren't even real PHANS and just trying to make money, when the REAL phans just wanna go to the show....PLEASE PHISH HELP SOLVE THIS PROBLEM! Sell thru some other way!!

I have been a fan since 89' and getting tickets is CRAP! Phish needs to fix this issue. Put in on 6 Phish tickets early and nothing. So try to work the Ticket Master system since 30 minutes till noon and you CAN NOT get in. So AGAIN, all the jackass scalpers will have thousands of tickets for hundreds of dollars more - PHISH needs to fix this somehow as this sucks. It's about the PHANS and not the scalpers but that is who gets all the tickets. You shouldn't expect your fans to pay that much more to a bunch of greedy bastards to come see your show!

Phish at MSG Is the best thing the east cost loves it! Ill be at all the shows... Dont feel bad westcost you have furthur! MSG is the best place for phish on NYE... Hope Phish stays in MSG for years to come. Hope there is a big blow out Phish summer tour in 2012 Keep rocking.

Does anyone know why Phish don't have past tours from the 90's till 2000 on there app? I'm looking for full tours from the past? They need to relese them ASAP.

With Trey's tour and Mike's tour and Phish new years all on the east coast. I hope they do something for the fans in the midwest & west coast in the spring or summer!
