Phish will end their summer tour with “IT”, a 2-day festival held at the former Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine on August 2 + 3, 2003.
“IT” will be Phish’s first time back to the legendary site which brought you “The Great Went” in 1997 and “Lemonwheel” in 1998. We’ve spent a great deal of energy on looking at how we can improve the site. Initial plans involve us placing the stage in a central location, allowing fans much closer proximity to the performance area. In addition, we hope to be able to have everyone be able to park and camp on grass.
As with all Phish festivals, It will feature three sets of Phish each day, as well as numerous attractions and art installations created by talented teams of artists and performers.
Tickets for It go on sale this Thursday, March 27 at 12 NOON via Phish Tickets-by-Mail, located at http://phishtickets.rlc.net, and via Ticketmaster Online at http://ticketmaster.com. Tickets may also be charged by phone at the following Northeast Ticketmaster numbers: 207.775.3331, 617.931.2000, 413.733.2500, 212.307.7171, 802.862.5300, 518.476.1000, 401.331.2211, and 757.671.8100. There is a limit of 6 tickets per person. As we said above, we’re making a considerable effort on creating a more comfortable experience, and as a result, the capacity for this year’s event has been reduced from years past. We strongly recommend that tickets be purchased well in advance.
We’ll be creating a special web site for It that we hope to launch within a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more info.
