After a celebrated Fall Tour, Mike and his band return to the road this March for a 17-date headlining club tour in support of his studio album, Moss (in stores now).
Like the band’s November run, the tour begins on the West Coast, March 5th in Eugene, OR and snakes its way across the country, ending with a hometown show for much of the band in Burlington, VT. Along the way, the band will make stops in San Diego, Lake Tahoe, Telluride, Atlanta, Asheville, and will play their first two-nighter at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY. In addition, the band will play a special show at Pageant Theatre in St. Louis, MO with Galactic.
Trey Anastasio Band hits the road this winter for an Acoustic & Electric Tour starting Feb 18th at the State Theatre in Portland, ME and ending at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA on March 5th marking the first TAB dates on the West Coast since Trey reunited the Classic TAB lineup in 2008. Along the way, the band will make stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver and more.
We’re giving away LIVE FROM PRINCETON, a special free holiday download of Trey Anastasio’s recent acoustic show in Princeton, NJ. This past November, Trey returned to his hometown of Princeton to perform a special acoustic show at the Richardson Auditorium on Princeton University’s campus. For the entire show, he was joined by The Scorchio Quintet, who had previously performed with Trey at Webster Hall in New York and at his last Tibet House appearance. The free download also features new arrangements by Trey and Don Hart, and includes Phish classics “Divided Sky,” “Strange Design,” “Stash” and Wolfman’s Brother.”

On August 14th and 15th, 2010 Phish played their 12th and 13th shows at Alpine Valley Music Theater – all 2-night stands since 2003. “Alpine” as it is affectionately known, is a steeply-sloping amphitheater with a big lawn and raucous crowd perpetually bursting with energy right in the band’s faces due to the angles of the place. The angles all aligned on Saturday August 14th – the focus of the Alpine Valley 2010, a brand new 2-DVD/2-CD Box Set, which will be released nationwide on December 14th. It is available for pre-order today at Phish Dry Goods.
This upcoming Sunday, November 7th at 1:00 pm PST, Mike Gordon will be performing a free outdoor concert in front of the Haight/Ashbury Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop, located at 1480 Haight Street. The show will be free and open to the public.
The last time there was a costume contest at a Phish Halloween show, the year was 1994. We’re resurrecting the tradition this year, with help from those of you that can’t be here in Atlantic City.
On Thursday, November 18th, Trey Anastasio will perform a special solo acoustic show at Princeton University’s historic Richardson Auditorium. The Scorchio Quintet, which supported Anastasio at the Tibet House benefit shows, will back him on select songs from his continuously growing repertoire.
