This was Phish’s sixth show and either the 1st or 2nd Doolin’s show (records always reflected this as the second but there is no record of the first). Note that Doolin’s shows were Thursday night happy hour but this date was a Friday. Doolin’s was located on Main Street near the Flynn Theatre in a space now occupied by Ruben James. There are no known recordings of this show and the setlist, which included what would have been the first Mike’s Song, written by Mike around this time in his Wilks dorm at UVM using reel-to-reel 4-track, is unknown.
