Show Notes

This was the second show of a 2-night stand at Nectar’s. Satin Doll was dedicated to Fish’s t-shirt. Trey asked Brian Long, Marc Daubert, Rennie Beal and Tim Rogers an Original Title Trivia Question about McGrupp And The Watchful Hosemasters, during which Fish played his usual trombone solo. There was a Paul Languedoc/Duct Tape Rap During Fly Famous Mockingbird. This show featured the 1st known peformance of Sailor In Jeopardy, which consisted of the Popeye and Jeopardy! themes. Following its debut, Sailor in Jeopardy was subsequently performed again as a “jazz version”. Between Cities and Suzy Greenberg, the band worked in some happy birthdays. Fluffhead was introduced as “Lunkhead” and was dedicated to Mike (and his new moutain bike) and to Fish’s newly-shaved beard The songs listed here are believed to be just one set. The setlist for set II (and set III if three sets were played) is unknown.
