This was Phish’s only appearance at this small but popular music venue built inside a former dress store-turned coffee shop in New Hope. Trey’s stepmother recalled that the band and crew were so dirty from traveling in the Love Van when they arrived home from Colorado to Trey’s parents’ place near Princeton that she forced them to enter the house via: the garage and shower before entering the house. After sleeping a day or two, they performed this show at John & Peter’s – about a half hour from where they landed back on the East Coast. This show may have occurred on 8/9/88.
